Description: This floor was originally laid with terrazzo tiles, the tiles were still sound with little damage.
Process:
The floor was lightly abraded to provide a ‘key’ we then applied two coats of microcement using the wet on wet system once these had dried we abraded the floor to provide a smooth surface, this was more of a free hand design we were left to ‘come up with something’.
- The design was cut into the floor giving the impression of different size tiles in three seperate blocks with a border in in a slightly lighter colour.
- Three coats of satin seal were applied to finish the marbelled effect.
The photos detract from the colours they are richer than this on site.
